I'm going to open a new thread in the MotP. It'll belong to a mercenary party where no one belongs to a standard race. {Yes, Myrranthor and NME, this means you:smirk:, though everyone else is wellcome as well} Once we have 7-8 participants, the adventure will begin. Afterwards, new players who may join will have theyr characters join at the begining of the next adventure {no entrances in the middle of a mission}. Anyone who thus joins is asumed to have been a part of the mercenary group for a while already, so no IC introductions to eachothers aren't needed.
This thread will have multiple small adventures, each consisting of a "mission" {id est the group being hired or recruited to do something}, and each such adventure will be DMed by another of the players. I'll be the first, but after the first adventure, i fall back and play, while someone else, who plaied a character while i Dmed, will DM in my stead. The one who DMs has his character stay behind during the mission he DMs
The characters are assumed to know each other atleast as colleagues, but at the players' discression may either be closer than that or not. All allignments are allowed, but the characters are assumed to be interrested, due to one reason or another, in remaining part of the mercenary group. THis doesn't mean they can't hate other members, but they won't openly act against the group. The party won't have an official leader, so power struggles within the group are possible and expected.
I know these requirements are a little less freeformish than most would expect, but i felt like opening such a game, and i immagine some would like such a setting.
Every DM, on his turn, is free to throw the party anywhere. Any material world can be reached through lplanar travel and spelljamming, and any plane of existance can be reched through the former. However to maintain sence, each adventure should start where the last one ended.
PS:
almost forgot, when you post your char here, suggest a name for the mercenary group. This way when we have 6-7 people, we'll have a good array to choose from.

- Regulations:
- Character may be of any race EXEPT the following: Human, Halfelf, Elf, Drow, Dwarf, Gnome, Halfling, any shapeshifter constantly pretending to be one of the above.
- For incase you were pondering, templates are ok.
- Basic char info should be posted here. It includes name, race, class/es, levels in it/them, allignment, minimal appearance description {write "typical for his kind" if you really don't want to}, minimal bacground and/or personality description.
- Any additional info about the char is very incouraged {and will add to the flavor and quality of the roleplaying}, but is NOT required as a must.
- Total level may not exceed 20.
- Summ of levels in base {non-prestige} classes may not exceed 15.
- All must read before posting.
- All must generally make sence in theyr posts.
- There is no actual time/frequency limit, but please try to post atleast once a week.
- DMing Recomendations:
- This is mostly freeform, and no dice is required. The DM may use dice if that's more comfortable for him, but don't tell the players to.
- Damage and other things that take effects on a character should be told to him, either in an ooc note or in a PM, much as you'd do in a normal tabletop game. That's to avoid misunderstanding betuin DM and players.
- You can either grand xp basing on roleplaying, creativeness participation, et c, or just tell a player when, and wether, his char gains a level. In either case, only do that at the end of your adventure, or on some major milestone in it.
- Penalizing is ok for lack of roleplaying or lack of attention, but NOT for low post frequency.
