I love Haley.

I think this strip kinda cements Haley's unofficial position as Party second-in-command, as she's about as smart as Roy is, but thanks to her Chaotic alignment (and Rogueish up-bringing), is far better at under-handed thinking then he is. After all, who else amongst the Order would've seen through the Shell Game trick?

Notice the incredibly faint 'whooosh' a few panels before Belkar mentions the wind? :)

Not until you pointed it out, but I did notice his cloak being swept back in that same panel.

V might have, but it's more of a Haley moment. But I agree that Haley is the de facto second-in-command. Look back at the first few strips; who gets told to lead the other half of the party when it splits back in the Dungeon of Durokan? She has both the smarts and the attitude for the job.

I'd say that Varsuvius is capable of being the second-in-command, but doesn't enjoy that role as much as "sit back for a while and then do something brilliant."

Durkon would be the third most likely, but he's more of a "sit back for a while and then do something that saves or protects everybody."
