<moderator> No Political references! </moderator>

We will rue the day that Burlew makes even more overt (this was clear, but not overt) political/current event references in his strip.

Then we can't talk about it

like <moderator removed>

Miko would be more likely to pull it off (more levels, not a rogue) but she's not a paladin anymore, so I don't think she has a real chance.
Ah, yes - however, if she does rise up against Xykon, then she might very well regain her Paladinhood, and then kick the crap outta the goblin army. But we'll see :)

Haley could kill the mammoth in a real cool scene the way Legolas did, though. :D
I was just thinking the same thing myself :D:D

Not without an Atonement spell she doesn't. It's traditional (even within the Atonement spell description) to require some quest or other great act of penance before casting the Atonement, but a Paladin who loses her powers because of an evil act needs a 5th level Cleric spell to get them back.

Uh, I'm pretty sure a paladin that intentionally commits an evil act (even if they did not see it to be evil) loses their powers permanently. But I could be wrong.

It used to be that way, though I didn't see anything to that effect in the SRD. Perhaps that was one of the more subtle changes made in the 3.0->3.5 transition?

Well, Rich has bent the rules enough that I'm sure (if I'm correct in my guess here) he'll find a way to fit it in :)

If I'm completely off, then I still can't wait to see what he comes up with. He's been at the top of his game lately :]
