That, actually, was Good. She sacrificed her life (assuming she's dead, which is likely as deliberately setting off an explosion like that would probably negate the possibility of a saving throw) in prder to prevent Zykon getting access to the Gate.
Um... but when she arrived, Xykon and Redcloak were down, and if she'd just paused to let Soon talk, she could have destroyed Xykon's phylactery and pernanently finished off the bad guys. There was no need to destroy the Gate. Miko turned a win for Good into a win for Evil.

Is there a Far Realm version of the Blackguard?
Yes, in my game. I made one in conjunction with a player whose character was angling that way after a series of games which totally changed the direction of the party and the nature of their questing. Our version is called the Aberrant Champion.

Is there one published by any actual company? Not that I know of.

And on the topic of the strip, I have to agree that Miko getting "saved" by the Snarl would be a very interesting twist to throw into the strip- particularly if we get to see her while she's meeting it. That would be a glimpse into a totally unique part of the multiverse of this campaign, and one that likely has no analogue elsewhere.

Though I doubt Rich will go that way, personally. I think he's likely to use the Evasion/Slow Fall abilities to save her and write it off simply. Of course, whether she gets "saved" or not, this whole situation will just drive Miko even more bonkers than she already was.

Looks like paladins of the twelve gods have a extraorninary ability to survive being thrown through walls and falling on their heads from great heights, so I don't think Miko needs anything else to survive the explosion.

If it's a class feature, she lost it. Fallen! :D

Theoretically, she also lost the stick, but her denial makes her still behave as though she had it.

Can someone explain to me where Miko got her swords from? They're not standard-issue prison swords.

I think Miko is the Westley or Kim Bauer of the strip. She's unpopular, but continues to get inserted into the storyline.

Miko's a Monk/Paladin, right? Possibly with a level or two of fighter thrown in. I wonder if the majority of her levels are in Monk, not Paladin? If she were Mk 9 / Pal 5, she'd have Improved Evasion.

I doubt it. She refers to a few levels of monk before becoming a paladin. She was only 13 when she started training as a paladin, and by RAW, once she took her first paladin level, no more monk levels. I'd place her as Monk 2 / Paladin lots.

She got it from poor paralyzed tea-sipping O-chul. Take another look at the panel where she's about to "Fulfill her destiny."

(The fires will take care of anything the force of the explosion missed).
Questionable. Explosion shockwaves tend to put out fires; if the explosion didn't have a fireball to re-light them, it may have limited the spread of the fire.

As for Miko: Evasion. That's what it's there for.

As for O-Chul: He's the only living witness to what really happened, if indeed he is alive. That could be very impotant!

Though...

I'm thinking that paralysis trumps the convention of closing eyes (X's) when the character dies.
Considering that Rich's artistic license version of paralysis doesn't work like D&D paralysis, it's hard to say. Lich paralysis makes someone look as though they've died; it's not a stasis effect. For all we know, Rich decided that he couldn't die or get blown up because that would move him out of his current stance, or somesuch.

Hinjo seems pretty definitive that no one could survive the blast, and is specifically talking about O-Chul when he says it.
This could just be dramatic irony.
