OotS 477 is up!

I loved the tiny "stomp" growing into an earthquake. And personally, I think if O-Chul is aware, then he'll welcome death at the hands of Xykon, no matter how painful it may be, just to get away from another tea party game.

I like the theory that the Creature in the Darkness is some kind of avatar or manifestation of the Snarl, only a very weak version of it so it's got a childlike mentality and proportionate strength (instead of killing Gods in one or two hits it's "merely" got the power we've seen of it).

I'm beginning to think it might *be* the Snarl. We don't know that the Snarl is that intelligent (indeed, it apparently didn't understand the prison it was in), so maybe it was just hungry despite the (possibly biased? opinion of the gods and later mortals that imprisoned it). And it was theorized to be less of a threat to mortals than to gods.

My other theory is that it is half-Snarl, and the other half dwarf (that barbarian that got trapped on the other side). Wonder what a Half-Snarl template looks like. :)

Half Messy Crayon? :)

I like the Snarl theory. That would account for a lot.

Of course, anyone who had any doubts as to Belkar's alignment should be pretty much sewn up now.

Actually I'm pretty sure Belkar's Alignment is Chaotic Neutral...

Actaully, I'm pretty sure there is a CN in the box next to "Alignment" on Belkar's Character Sheet.

He acts very similiar to waaayyyy too many players I've DM'd & played with who took CN to mean "Whatever I feel like, whenever I feel like"; with some sort of "Makes sense (to them) rationale as to why the action they just did isn't evil, merely CN".

One of those "CN=Anything" type players.
