OOTS 627 is up

Hmm... that anti-magic shell doesn't extend as far as the dragon' feet, does it? I wonder if the dragon will get overconfident?

I still say the
four words were already said: Disintegrate. Gust of Wind. But we shall see

I don't know why we're spoiling this either, but when in Rome.

What exactly do we expect Qarr to do, assuming V accepts his offer?

What makes anyone believe that Qarr could save V or defeat the dragon?

Call in another marker from a fiend, get some backup in there to fight the dragon? Trade a one-time favor from a big fiend for an eternity of service from a wizard?

That little imp doesn't have a lot of power on his own, but he apparently does have favors and services owed by a wide variety of other beings he can call on (and he value's V's services/soul enough to call in one: an evoker of approximately 14th level and of nongood alignment is not insignificant as an ally, although as the Imp noted, the dragon would be even more valuable, but the imp has no leverage to get to the dragon with).
