Opportunity Attack Rules Clarification

To clarify on this a bit (don't have PHB3), ANY move action (as defined above) besides shift will provoke an OA. So that would include teleporting? Is that right?

If it is, it seems odd - I mean flavor wise, who in the world would be fast enough with their reactions to hit something that teleports - given that you're not gonna know when they do it, until its already done?

I believe the teleprt write up also mentions no attacks of oppurtunity.
 


An opportunity attack is not an immediate interrupt. It interrupts the action that provokes it, but an OA is not the same thing as an immediate interrupt. One is an immediate action, one is an opportunity action.

You're right - that is an important difference. In my defence, it is two years since I posted that.
