Optimize my 7th level wizard for Ravenloft

Aren't many divinations hugely nerfed in Ravenloft?

Possibly. OTOH, the extra spell slot for things such as True Strike, Identify or See Invisibility is always useful and the alternate class feature is very nice (saves are a wizard's weakness). Yeah, Scrying and Augury may be out, but that's not all what Divination's about.

I am currently in a Ravenloft camapign with a Ultimate Magus. I started with 1 lvl of Belguiler, followed by 1 lvl of Conjurer. I followed that with 3 lvls of Elf Paragon before entering the UM prc. With this build I have been giving the DM nothing but fits.

Yeah, Beguiler/Wizard/UM is a bit like being the only Gestalt character in a party of standard ones.
