Optimized mage combos

Sorcerer (Born to arcane power by his blood), Rogue (his hubris leads him to amoral acts), Paladin (finally sees the light)...and then go from there.

Nothing wrong with a Lawful Good Rogue - amorality doesn't need to come into it at all!

Levels in Rogue represent nimbleness (good Reflex saves and Evasion), aptitude (lots of skill points, lots of class skills), and an ability to take advantage of distraction in a fight (sneak attack). It doesn't require a life of crime!

Ach- you're absolutely right...and I should know better since I'm designing one of those Paladin/Rogue PCs for that PrCl in CompDiv...and most of my Rogues & thieves over the past 20+ years have been non-evil.

:o :o :o :o

Of course, there is a disadvantage in starting with Paladin from a mechanical point of view, if you ever wanted to take more levels in the class...

(Plus missing out on all those yummy 1st level Rogue skill points!)

If you wanted a contest/or competition, prizes might be necessary. :p :) We're gamers after all and we like free stuff, even if it's bubble gum. :p :)

*still like Thayan's approach to fighting with magic*
