Back in 1e they were the Bone devil.
2e introduced non-descriptive names for devils and they became Osyluth
3.5e went back to the original Bone Devil (with osyluth in brackets).
So is 4e using the old name, the old new name, or the old, new, old name?
...I predate 2e, so the descriptive names always made most sense to me. I suppose that to many people who came along with 2e or 3.0e the abstract names are more familiar and thus better?
