[OT] Ack! I hate it when I lose books!

I've had soooo many 1E modules grow legs over the years. Quite irritating. Problem is I'm never sure if I lent them out (me and a couple of my friends regularly passed them between each other, though I was the main DM and usually had a hold on all of them most of the time) or if someone swiped them. I've replaced most, but there area couple I never did get back (Aerie of the Slavelords, Ghost Tower of Inverness most notably).

Nowadays, all of my modules are quite well hidden in my closet (where they should be...they really shouldn't be out for anyone to read anyway...)

Oh, yeah, if your BGC books were anything like mine, you probably needed to replace them for all the loose pages, anyway. Terrible binding on those...

An update:

I still haven't found my Bubblegum Crisis books. :( I have a feeling that Genom must be involved somehow.

While I was tearing apart the apartment last night, however, I did find some gaming books that I had been missing for quite awhile, including about half a dozen MERP adventures and the Batman RPG that Mayfair released way back when.

So, that made me smile. Briefly.

Where are my BGC books?!?

*wails in agony*

The search continues....

I think the semi-local game store has some BGC books on shelf, though that doesn't help you that much I suppose. At least it shows they are out there, if you care to look. Maybe Talon could track some down for you if it comes to that?

Hmmm...Talon.

Well, I looked through the catalog on his site and didn't see any BGC books. But I'll slide him an email and see what he says.

:D

I think the game store Crazy Egor's is supposed to be a good place for hard-to-find stuff. You might check their site. I don't know the address, but it may be worth hunting down.
