I'm sure my group would be interested. You can count me in. It sounds like it should be fun. I'm also interested to see if our group acts any more mature when they know they are being recorded. More than likely they will use it as an oppertunity to "perform"

I had a look, and it seems like air mail would only cost about $14 AU ... which is 6 pounds or so. So don't worry about it - I'm hardly going to go broke from that!

Now I'll just have to check with the lunatics I call a gaming group to make sure it is OK with them ...

I'd be keen as well - sounds like it'd be fun. Thank gawd you dont mind colourful language - my shadowrun groups language is pretty, well, not.

Actually I believe a friend of mine did a psych paper on the 'hierarchies' of gaming groups - it was hilarious reading.


ive got one of those dictathingies, so it would be pretty easy.



ps. ive run a game in a pub too - up to 12 players in a SR game. bad craziness.

randomling, do you want a full session recorded, or just a single full tape's worth? A typical session games lasts 4-5 hours for us, so probably 3 full tapes, if you want the whole thing.

Just a thought on psychology...

Knowing that you are being taped makes you change the way you act.

If thats not importat, then OK.

It sounded like it is, so i thought that you guys could tape the sessin in secrecy, and tell the players in the end.

If they like it, ok, if they dont, just erase the tape.

Just my 2 centavos.


(I cant really help, cuz my group speaks in an odd mix of portuguese and english, due to rule name using, as I think every group whose primary language isnt english does. We also dislike the translations done to our language. And I think that mix could become an interesting dissertation on linguistics for a NON-primarily english speaker)
