(OT) Can I crash on your couch?

A belated thanks to Crothian for the most comfortable matress on a floor I've slept on in ages!

Just thought I ought to put it in the more "proper" thread...

Piratecat, Doc Midnight, Kid C, all you crazy cats in the Boston area- I'll prolly be up your way in about a week and a half (? rough guess).

Well, I'm at Diaglo's pad now, having just finished up with the first Forgotten Realms game I've ever enjoyed, run by Olgar Shiverstone... wow! Very dramatic, with a good mix of roleplaying and combat (I was actually there for what was a showdown with a party nemesis- very cool!)

My dog saved the day! I was playing a halfling rogue with a riding dog, and it was he (the dog) that finished off the big villain (referred to by us as the Fat Man). Very fun!

Well, I'm going to Tampa next to see the mysterious Grace (the girl I met in New Orleans) so I'm sure sometime in the next week I'll have an interesting story to tell. Not sure exactly what that'll entail, but I'm sure it'll be a little weird!

Tallyho!

Well, let me know what's doin'. If'n there's a plan, I'm diggety-down, provided I don't make another plan by then.

Failing anything else, I can at least invite you to guest-star for a night in my Saturday campaign.

On the Road again

Jester was a very cool guy. He was a blast. And kept my wife, our pets, and I very well entertained. He is also an outstanding cook.

I got to show off a little of my D&D collection. Only a true D&Der could appreciate. :D

Once again a belated thanks to Diaglo for putting me up for a second time- what a guy! And man, does he have a dnd collection!

You know, Crothian has more 3e stuff than I've seen in one place- but Diaglo has BY FAR the best collection of dnd stuff that I've ever seen, ever, ever, ever. From minis to dice to books and modules, from Dragon #1 to the original little books to the 1st printing of Deities and Demigods, from... gack... I was overwhelmed and in awe.

He has more dice than anyone I've ever known, and I'm no slouch in that department myself. He has more miniatures than I've ever seen- like, all of them, I think.

If any of you folks get the chance to drop in and see his vault of gaming madness, it's well worth it.

(bows in supplication)

...Oh yeah, and he's also a really nice guy with a wonderful wife and a totally sweet dog.

That I didn't even eat.

Er, not that I ate Alsih2o's cat anyhow. Really.

Anyway, if you missed it in the other thread, Doc Midnight, I'll be in the Boston area starting on Wednesday evening, so we should try to hook up. Feel free to email me your phone number or something; I'm going to be staying with relatives but will have more free time than them anyway.
