[OT] Did you turn off MNF when it was 35-14?

gfunk

First Post
Like 95% of the country, I stopped watching the Colts/Bucs game after the score was 35-14 with 4 minutes left. What could happen I thought?

When I woke up and saw Sportscenter, I found out that I missed the greatest comeback in MNF history and possibly NFL history.

That's exactly when I turned it off! I told my wife "well, it's over, might as well go to bed now". Man, I really wish I had kept watching...

i turned it off when it was 21-7. No way were the colts gonna score enough on that D.

i was soooo wrong....

Hell no!

I knew Manning would "man up". It was joyous to watch the Bucs defense suck air and sweat like pigs with the look of defeat in their eyes as the Colts had their way with them.

I was glad. Where was the trash talk from Sapp? Johnson? Where'd they go?

Oh, heh. To the locker room with their tails between their legs like whipped dogs. Thats where!!!

:D :D :D

And yes, no team has ever come back like that in the entire history of the NFL. Thats since the 1920's for those who are curious.

Johnson the Bucs reciever is overrated. Marvin Harris has 6 TD catches this year, thats more than Johnson has had the last 3 seasons. :)

Anyway, I watched the whole thing, I was flipping back and forth between MNF and the baseball game until the baseball game was over. I was also watching CSI: Miami . So I was doing a lot of channel flipping.

The Bucs defense really blew that game, I dont know how they could choke that bad. They must have gotten overconfident after the first 3 quarters.

I didn't turn it off, I just started flipping around. So, in the fourth quarter I swa things happening and tuned in again. Damn that was impressive. Now if only the Steelers could look half that good.
