[OT] Favorite Band?

My favorite band? The garage band I played in back in high school. Listening is great, playing is better, and man did we have fun.

As far as bands you would care about: #1 would be Rush, followed in no particular order by:

Zepplin, The Who, Rob Zombie, House of Pain, Soundgarden, Boston, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakum, Brian Setzer Orchestra, Yes, Rolling Stones, ZZ Top, Godsmack, Deep Purple, Third Bass, Beastie Boys, The Mavericks, Weird Al, They Might Be Giants, Pink Floyd, Toby Keith, Clapton, Miles Davis, Al DiMeola

and tons of stuff that I really like, but don't quite crack the faves list...

FLA is amazing. they are one of the best of all time. but do not count out their canadian counterparts SKINNY PUPPY.

also europe produced some incredible industrial acts over the years.

hell, right now i am listening to pig. ray watts is pretty damned good, i think!

Moxy Früvous

I tell you a tale of Moxy Fruvous --- for a little while, I dated the bass player's girlfriend. I had no idea she had a boyfriend...I'm not even sure that they were really a couple. This might have been more like, "She's my girlfriend when we play THIS town."

At any rate...I guess when her quirky cult band boyfriend wasn't around, she needed another rock god to hang with. And I was in a band.

Of course, she didn't know about the gaming. Gotta be careful about the image if you want the groupies to stick around...
