Congratulations, Old One!! (Not that old after all, eh?

)
When I read this, I couldn't help but harken back to the first post I made in my own story hour which included these fateful lines:
"...life is beginning to take its toll on my free time. I am recently the proud father of a very cute baby girl. I was facing the prospect that I might not have time to roleplay at all. Thanks to my wonderful wife, I have been able to still make time to game one night a week. But my responsibilities prohibit me from spending a great deal of time on my campaign between sessions..."
I thanked you then and I thank you now for crafting such a marvelous campaign world (which I unremorsefully stole). It gave me a fantastic framework to build a game on which I never would have had time to create on my own.
I wish for you most fervently for a happy and healthy child. I guarantee that it will be the biggest and best change your life has ever seen. I also wish for you (only slightly less fervently) that you still have time to game. It is a great way to "keep the magic alive" in your life and, to be perfectly honest, sometimes a welcome break from the perils of fatherhood.
Maybe someday there will be a ENWorldCon and all our kids will be sitting around the same gaming table with us daddys sitting around smiling. Proud to have "corrupted" another generation with RP madness.
Good luck to you and your wife in the months and years ahead. And keep us posted.
