So, as nearly everyone doesn't know, today is (for obvious reasons) Pie Day. Eat more pie! Be happy!

If you can celebrate at 1:59 and 27 seconds, of course, you rock my world. But any pie any time today is a good, noble homage to the Glory of Pie.

I think I'll have to celebrate this glorious day. When it comes to pie, I can't list a favorite, I have yet to find a pie I didn't like.

Oh, man! We're celebrating Pie Day at my brother's house tonight, and we gamed there yesterday. He missed a perfect chance to say that, Rel!

Although my favorite pie is wild blackberry pie, it's the wrong season for that. I'll be making a pseudo-Mexican chocolate pie, with a cinnamon crust and a topping made of candied orange peels (arranged in a sunburst design) and shaved chocolate curls and dusted with more cinnamon.

I'm such a foofy baker.

My grandmother's coconut cream pie w/o maragaine topping! Oh that sounds absolutely delicious! I am thinking I might have to make one when I get home today!

As for why it is Pie day today, I would have to guess that today is Pielorinho's birthday and he was born at 1:59 and 27 seconds. That would make it Pielorinho's day or for short, Pie day. But that is just my guess and it could actually be national Pie day today.
