See Lady Dragon's post. While we can all agree that Hasek loves to flop about, this behavior generally helps the opposition since refs are tired of being baited into goaltender interference calls. I'm sure your primary point is that flopping is lame, but let's talk about something controversial. None of the Detroit fans defend Dom's cheesy displays.

Nice assessment regarding Hasek, and I've been saying to watch the Sharks. It'll be them or the Wings representing the Western Conference in the Cup Finals.

I'm surprised Selanne hasn't performed better to this point, but last round doesn't matter now...2 goals and an assist matter. As for hockey being more popular than other sports, I recall some NFL playoff and Super Bowl threads doing well. I think it's more a matter of hockey fans in general being more interested and knowledgable about their sport regardless of team loyalty and performance. That's just my opinion, though.

The Leafs do keep plugging along despite being woefully shorthanded. As for the teeth -- ouch!! The thought just makes me shiver.

Colorado/San Jose : Colorado in 7
Detroit / Saint-Louis: Detroit in 6

Toronto/Ottawa: Toronto in 6 (Ottawa have win a round, it's enough )
Montreal/Caroline: Montreal in 5 (Theodore is too hot )

I think the Canadiens have a great chance to win the Cup. They're the Dark Horse contender that will get better and better as they gain confidence. With Theodore in net, it's hard not to be confident...

Dunno it looked legit on the reply about the no goal call. Not enough time left before the buzzer sounded.

Still I think the two Western Teams, Detroit and Colorado's series will go the distance (all seven games) while the others will be six games. Thus the Eastern teams will be a little MORE rested than the West. But doesn't mean that I think it will be a cakewalk for either team in the East. Just that the Cup is Staying West. Still holding to Colorada/Canadiens Cup final.

Detroit will finish St louis in 4-5 games Colorado will go 7 with san Jose It's hard to say which will win Colorado has better skill and better Goaltender but San Jose is tougher and if Selanne plays well they will win.
