T-Bill:
I'm not trying to rub anything in whatsoever, my friend. Just revisiting my first round predictions, that's all :). Besides, I wouldn't hassle a guy I've invited to attend a game at JLA with me next season. One last thing, please refresh my failing memory as to what book/character your username is derived from. Thanks.

Lord Zardoz:
I don't understand your question...there seem to be a few words missing.

QB I think he's referring to the typo in you predictions list that has Toronto v. Ottawa and then the Habs v. Ottawa (should be Canes I know ;) )

Tom:

I love that picture!! :D Looks like a big turtle on his back :D

Now guys unless the refs actually call a penatly for goaltender interference Hasak doesn't actuall hurt anyone except possibly his own team. The problem He has however is that when he really does get hit the ref's don't beleive him.

It looks like the sharks are knocking the Av's around a bit tonight. The Av's might be in for a rough week HAHA!!

GO WINGS!!!

yep, the Sharks are off to a great start in round two, and finally got Selanne going. I'm just bummed that they scheduled 4 out of 7 possible games (as well as two from last round) on Monday and Wednesday, when I have class and can't watch.

As an aside, has anyone else noticed that the Olympic thread, and now this one, have gone to a number of pages, but other sports threads don't really seem to prosper on these boards? Maybe it's just that I'm really only interested in hockey and ignore the other ones, but I would think they would at least register in passing. Is hockey an especially popular sport among gamers, or am I just crazy?

BTW Tom, in case you just can't wait for TB to get back, his name is a character (a powerful wizard) played by Brian VanHoose in the Hackmaster campaign portrayed in the Knights of the Dinner Table comic.

International Icing PLEASE

Sundin out, Renberg out, Yushkevich out... Reichel plays 5:00 a game... they don't have a 4th line... I guess it's up to Corson, Tucker and Domi to take care of Ottawa (this might not be a high scoring, finesse game). Congrats to Gary Valk for buying a 4:00 PP for only four teeth and some stitches.

GO LEAFS GO!

Huh? I'm not understanding that. Then again, it's early...

Must be the whole hack-n-slash thing. ;)

RE: Last night's game.
My favorite part was when Teemu Selanne's goal wedged right into the back of the net. But just because it was cool; because the Sharks winning was definitely not cool in my book. Game 2 should be a little different, once the Avs have had time to rest--last night was like Game 8 for them!

GreyOne & Bovine: Yeah, I just couldn't resist posting that. "The Posture of Defeat." What can I say? I'm an embittered Rangers fan. Although I have to add, one of my favorite quotes of the playoffs was when reporters asked Peter Laviolette if the Islanders would win Game 7, and he replied, "Who do I look like, Mark Messier?" :)

Bronn: Rangers aren't broken. They've 86ed Ron Low and should be on their way to bigger and better things...like the 2003 Playoffs! "Just wait til next season!"
