We're the same people who joked about that guy who cut his hand off when he was trapped in the mountain must have had "Iron Will". We're the same people who joke Lance Armstrong having "Endurance".

It's just what we do... We joke about this stuff TO keep it in perspective. It's not like any of us are so detached from reality that we see everything in real life as nothing more than a series of numbers and classes. It's just... a way of dealing with extreme news without stress cracks.

And what does the fact people died matter? If he had beet them to a bloody pulp but not killed them, would it have changed your attitude to our posts?

And trust me. Taking the high moral ground on a public message board only ever looks like taking the high horse, no matter how innocently you meant it. I've made that mistake a few times.

"The Doctor" is my new hero. If more people reacted to criminals like this, well, there would be a lot less criminals. If he gets prosecuted it will be a gross tragedy of justice. By the way, no "people" died - criminals aren't people, they're vermin. I think the best part was that he disarmed a scumbag and used his own weapon to kill him, and his fellow scum. Oh yeah, he's at least a 10th level Monk.
