[OT] If you could be a super hero

I was listening to a stephen lynch song and thought of putting up a thread.

So here's the song lyrics:

If I could be a superhero, I would be awesome man.

And if I saw criminals trying to lie,
hurting other people and making them cry,

telling the world of drugs and all of the lives they destroy.

with thier needles, and bongs, and sticks made of thai.
As I burn them alive I'ld squeal with joy,

If I could be a super hero I'ld be immigration dude,
I'ld send all the foreigners back to their homes for eating all of our food.
For taking our well-fare and best jobs to boot,
like landscaping, dish-washing, and picking our fruit.
I'ld pass a lot of laws to get rid of their brood,
cause I'ld be immigration dude.

Now kids, you can make up your very own super hero. If you could, who would it be?

If you could be a super hero, would you be justice-guy?
Making sure people get what they deserve, especially women who lie.
Like if a wife left her husband with three kids and no job,
to run off to f***in hawaii with some doctor named bob
You could skin them and drain them of blood so they'ld die (especially bob),
then you would be justice guy......

Or you could be more subtle, I didnt mean to be vague.
Give her the mad cow disease, let him die of the plague.
As long as they suffer for their terrible lies (especially bob),
then you would be justice guy.

then you would be a super hero like me.

If you pick other it has to have a description and it must ryhme.

Ok, I find these first two comments insulting, I didn't post this to jump on the band wagon of poll posting. Unfortunately, I do realize it is ill timed because of the recent polling situation. That is no reason to blame me. I posted this because I just finished downloading the song from audiogalaxy, and wanted to share the lyrics, introduce enworld to the comedy of Stephen lynch, and ask who you favorites are out of his song. If it inspired someone to write a allowed for their creativity. I in no way see how this is linked to do you allow fighters, players, talking, ect. in your games. Give me a little more credit, this is at least a little original.

I am just fed up with totally silly polls.
I will take the time to post in your poll now - even though I think a thread with:
"[OT]Steven Lynch: Superhero song!"
or something would have gooten far better results, as opposed to a poll of who I'd actually want to be... from a comedic song about silly superheroes.

So your thread may be valid - a poll mightn't be.
But I rescind my opinion that you were just jumping into the fray.

Nevertheles, my first post will stand, so people at least know what we're talking about

I voted other... but I don't get it.
I thought it was a kid's song about bad things, then it flipped into a satirical statement about so-calledrighteousness, leaving me with the image of
"If immigration dude is bad - and he is - then drug-free boy must be bad, too. And awesome man."
The question is: Why?

Of course drug-free boy and awesome guy are way overboard, and totally exaggerated.
The only thing is, you don't think: Wow, the exaggerated version is bad - one must look out not to become too fanatical. You actually think: These people are all bad.

Drug-free means bad.

Sorry, I just don't like it.

Now, my rhyme for "other".
If I could be a superhero, I'd be Bookcritic Stu
I would read all books and predict how they do
I'd take all books I didn't like and ban them from the state
I'd speak about them everytime and get quite irate
And then I'd burn them, and their authors, too
Cause I would be Bookcritic Stu.

I wish I could make a test. Maybe that will be my next job, make a test to find out what superhero you are.

Actually it is quite interesting.. the name "justice-guy" popped out at me and I thought paladin. It reminds me of the shadow chasers blurb that was written up before. About how there is an emphasis on a certain aspect of the character. Reminded me of how you could analogue D&D characters to these comic characters... and somewhat like the Avataars Avengers comic they had a while back...
