(OT) It Snowed!!

Bah. Snow is overrated. I guess is depends on your geographical location. Where I live, we have snow cover on the ground for 5-6 months of the year.

But it looks great, everything covered in the White Blanket. It quiets everything as well. It just cheers me up, seeing snow on the ground, especially the first time in a season. :)

Snow, I don't like snow. That is why I moved to Florida. I only see snow on TV. Have fun shoveling the white fluffy #$#!@ off your driveway in the coming weeks.:D

I'll be thinking of you guys while I'm fishing.

I don't understand how people can get excited over snow.

Honestly, all it does is make it so I have to spend ten minutes in the morning cleaning my car off, five putting weight in the back end, and an entire commute of sliding around on the road.

Of course the snow Ohioans are talking about today is the kind of snow I like... practically none.

Woah. Snow in november. That must be really strange.

Or, you know, not.

Bloody southerners :)

I'm in a Valley, we don't get a lot of snow here. It is strange, if you are in the right place :D

Actually what I hate the most is the first snow storm of the season.

Apparently, there is some sort of mind-control laser that warms up about May and proceeds to eliminate every last bit of skill that drivers acquired about driving in snow - so when early October hits and the inevitable snowstorm occurs - people react either like a bunch of skittish squirrels on a caffine kick and slip and slide over the rode or Banarby the tortice and figure that 5mph is excessive speed.

Hey, AP, how is the weather up there? Mrs. Airwolf will be visiting her parents next week in Edmonton.

[evil grin]
I hope you all have a nice big ice/snow/sleet storm starting next Thursday and ending on Satuday.

The father-in-law is thrilled that she married a guy in AZ, it means he can come down and golf in the winter. :)

I think for me, at least, I get excited over snow because it's almost magical. IT brings back those memories of childhood, ya know? Snow days(back when we were still in school, and didn't have to report for a construction job at 7 am in the freezing cold), snowball fights(which me and my girlfriend still have, but back then, it was different. More innocent ;) ), and hanging out with my friends playing D&D, drinking hot chocolate(or now, Kahlua), indoors, while the white stuff comes down outside.

And I hate it when it snows and there's practically none. IT feels like God is screwing with me.:D
