(OT) It Snowed!!

It's been pretty good actually Airwolf. It was too cold for a week last month, but it's been just a little below freezing since then, with enough new snow to keep some on the ground.

At least the roads are clear. After all, we (Edmontonians) recently got rated the worst drivers in the country. Woo! We're number one! (The rating came at a pretty bad time really - insurance companies were already in the process of refusing new polcies, and now all the large companies are freezing new policies in Alberta.)

what Crothian has seemingly forgotten (and blackshirt5 probably doesn't know) is that this is Columbus Ohio. we won't
have snow on Sunday!

As Airwolf pointed out, it's warm and sunny here today. In fact it's been unseasonsably warm, up in the mid- to upper-80's.

Gotta love shoveling sunshine (after a childhood full of shoveling snow).

Snow this time of year isn't that unusual here in Cleveland (and yeah, it's snowing right now). Matter of fact, I was a bit surprised we didn't get any before now - I figured we'd get some in October. It's been known to happen, and I've seen it as early as September and as late as May. We get the lake effect snow here, especially out on the east side - the same thing that inundates Buffalo so often, except it's not quite as bad here.
