8 p.m. showing on Dec 18th for me and my lovely fiance.

We're watching the extended DVD in installments...Friday night Part I, next Monday Part II, then TTT on Wednesday. I can't believe I've had it for nearly a month and haven't watched it yet... (except for the Easter Eggs. Does everyone know about the MTV parody of the Council of Elrond and the 4-minute TTT trailer on the extended DVD?)

Just booked my ticket for Thursday 19th. :)

I think that central London film tickets are among the most expensive in the world. You don't want to know how much I paid for mine.

Still, I know someone who works in a cinema so I can see it for free at the end of Jan/early Feb. I saw the FotR four times last year! :p

I don't have a DVD player yet. I'm going to wait till TRotK is out on DVD. I'm then going to get a player and all three extended LotR DVD's and watch them back-to-back. :D I don't care if my GF won't let me. I'm going to do it anyway. That'll be 10.5 hours of pure pleasure. Yes! :p

Nope. How do I access them?

I have tickets, along with about 10 of my closest friends. Woohoo! I'm just rereading the books in preparation.

I know there are at least six of us going at 7:30 on the 18th. It would be cool to join Doc & Lox at the Midnight showing, but alas, falling asleep at work is a bad thing! :D

Go to the scene selection on disc 1. Go to scene 48 in the MIDDLE bar and keep going down past it. A ring will appear. Click enter.

Go to scene selection on disc 2. Go to the last scene in the RIGHT bar and keep going down. Two Towers will appear. Click on them.

It warms my heart to see so many gaming groups rise up from their tables and march fourth (DM's day reference :p) into local movie theaters en masse.

How does this warm the Cockles of your heart, QB -

my group, and most of their families, are going to see it.

So far, we have a total of 12 people going together, all on the 22nd of December!

Something even warmer: I'm paying for them all. Merry Christmas to all, and to all, a good night!
