[OT:LOTR-Preview] I have seen Treebeard.

tempting as it is, i think i'll wait. i've already seen LotR 3 times, and i want the DVD to be sort of fresh when i get it. plus the TT preview will be very prevalent in the late summer, fall.

as i said, it is tempting to go see it one more time.

*sigh* Aussies...

Then am I correct in assuming you are an Aborigine, and you live in the Outback, eating whatever marsupials you can scavenge for the day, in-between random bouts of crocodile wrestling? At least, that's what I've been told about Australians... ;)

[Edit] Fixed spelling [/Edit]

You have us summed up quite well...

but you have left out the thong wearing
shorts and skivvy (tanned lines) esky full of beer
crappy hat and sun lotion on the nose

walking around saying 'you beut mate, ripper , bonza,
she''l be right, need a root, fair craka the wip'

and telling the misses to go change the telly cause
the footy is on :D

*The above has been endorsed by an aussie unfortunatly
myself*

too fast...

Well i just got back from my fifth viewing of
Fellowship and i saw the TRAILOR!!! :)

I loved every millisecond of it!!!

Gandalf the White looked even cooler than what i
could ever imagine!

But my one and only complaint was

IT WENT BY MUCH TOO FAST!

I want to see it again and again and again
until December comes...

WHOOOO HOOOOO

I feel like a ten year old again :D

I get to see this once more--still have one friend that hasn't seen it that wants company. Is the IMAX experience much improved over the normal theater?

On the beer thing, Budweiser is also fairly popular (gag) in Ireland, as well. I didn't see any lack of Irish natives drinking Guinness and Murphy's, although there were a lot that also liked Bulmer's (cider). I prefer Harp and Carlsberg, myself, as stouts are a little heavy for me.

I've heard mixed reviews; I heard someone who saw LoTR on IMAX and thought it was tough to keep track of what was going on with such a large screen.

On the other hand, I saw Brotherhood of the Wolf on the Addison IMAX screen, and thought it was pretty cool. I wouldn't call it much improved, but it was nice.
