God, this suxxors... I messed up my back like two weeks ago and have been half-crippled ever since, and then my poor dog hyperextended BOTH her forelegs!! No, I'm not even kidding!!

Since the Jester was immobilized, she was moving his TV into the bedroom for him. Poor little thing -- I bet he now regrets getting the 48" screen. It's big enough to be a little unwieldy. But even with that, she probably would have been fine if he hadn't insisted that she bring the VCR, the DVD player, the Tivo and all the remotes on the same trip.

Actually, she moved the entertainment stuff fine and won the boxing match, but then she was on the couch and my girlfriend was making taquitos and Maggie (the pug) got so excited she launched herself off the couch and- oof! Damage done.

You know, I've never been able to buy into this concept that something can be so ugly it's cute.

How do you decide exactly when it turns that corner?

No offense, I love dogs... I just don't get it.

I also won't ever own a dog whose tail curls up and exposes it's butthole. I really don't need to see that... Geez, the pug gets you coming AND going.
