So, I'm ready for another 7 games!

Spurs vs Mavs

It will be close and surely damn fun to watch!

PS: Go Mavs! Go Dirk!

East Rutherford, City of Champions

The Lakers or the Kings might have trouncedthe east with ease, Not so the Texas teams, I think the Nets have a real shot against the Mavs, whom I think will beat the Spurs.

Of course The Devils will beat the Ducks so East Rutherford will do something no other city can claim, have the NBA and NHL champions in a single year... cool....

Gosh, maybe a Jets/Giants Superbowl next year?

I'm all for a Giants/Jets superbowl, almost happened last year.

Even though it seems that the Devils and Nets will win, New Jersey is in for dissapointment; neither will win their finals. Ducks in hockey and Mavs in Basketball.

WOOOHOOOO!

Dirk! Great game!

They did it!

Great! So close but what a great 4th quarter from Dallas!

So much about the Spurs will own them, eh?

;)

Go Mavs ! Go Dirk !

17 for 17 from the foul line? You gotta be kidding me. I love that German efficiency. :)

They made 49 of 50as a team...that's just incredible, and a good way to win basketball games.

Go Mavs!

Duncan did own them. 40 points. 15 Rebounds. 7 assists. In my book the Mavs lost. They trailed by as many as 18 points; it was just the arbitrary time limit that capped it. That, and the pansy "strategy" that ALL teams unfortunately resort to, commonly referred to as running out the clock. Makes me cringe even when the Kings do it.

Duncan would have really owned them if he had made like 3 more FTs but he didn't, or?

As it is Tim and Dirk are mostly similar with 40/38 pts and 15 boards both. Sure, Tim was overall better (more assists, less TO, better FG%.. anything but the FTs), but his missed FTs lost them the game - FTs are his weakness. (and possibly the series bu we will see)

The better team (this night!) won - the better crunch time team to be excact. No other team can come back as the Mavs.

The first 3 quarters seldom win a game, it's the 4th quarter that counts (and especially the crunch time): 30 - 19 for the Mavs in the 4th quarter. That was the difference - the Spurs played good until the 4th quarter, but that's the time that counts most.

But as I said before, this will be a 7 games series and that means more fun to watch for all of us. And it will be really close.

Go Mavs! Go Dirk!
