I hope Dirk can play, but man what a game! They just totally outplayed the Spurs in the second half, I was getting tired just watching them! A lot of hustle and heart tonight, I hope they have the energy to continue. As for the Spurs and speaking of heart, where is theirs? I mean, I have liked the Spurs teams of the past, but I can't stand Parker or Bowen. I thought I wouldn't care too much who won, but I really want the Mavs to win as it will be very hard to root for the Spurs if they go on.

Happy to see the Mavs die out, just because they shouldn't have been there in the first place (IMO of course). Now that that's over though, I guess I'm rooting for the Nets, since Kidd went to Berkeley. Then again he used to be a Mav so.. hmm.

But I expect the Nets to make adjustments. This isn't the first time the team with the longer layoff came back a little flat. I'm still picking the Spurs though I'm hoping the Nets make a good series of it.

Now if Indiana would only join the great coach firing spree and get rid of Isiah Thomas..

I agree with the Pacers coaching suggestion. Man there is so many teams with out coaches! It was around 8 or 9 teams at one point. Van Gundy could get a coaching job, he just wants too much money, thats why he didnt get the Cavalier job.
