Dear friends and family,

biorph and I (diaglo) are traveling together to Gen Con. originally Angelsboi was going with us. but due to circumstances beyond our control he is unable to attend. so on Angelsboi's unofficial behalf i will be accepting any wellwishings.

we are arriving Wednesday afternoon and leaving Sunday afternoon.

Olgar Shiverstone and JoeBlank couldn't make it either.

It really is a pity he couldn't make it. A few days of fun might've done him good.

Yes. I was originally supposed to go but I seem to have gotten a tad worse. My white blood cells are supposed to be in the 4. range. Mine are 1.6.

I went to the doctors yesterday to get all my bloodwork to check out my CD 4 cells and all, but I wont know about that till Monday or Tuesday.

I havent been able to sleep much and my night sweats have me washing bed sheets nearly everyday.

Randy came back Negative so, that's good. Im just really stressed right now. I found out one treatment (12 weeks) of a specific HIV Med is 18,000 dollars. Thank God for insurance and lets hope I can find a job. So i will be accepting any prosperity spells some of you witches cast out there. Goddess knows Im praying too.

I really wish I could go. I cant even go to Dragon*Con because ive been so sick. Its hard when you have goosebumps and are cold but your body is so hot, your pouring sweat.

As ive stated before, I update my journal daily. I hope Diaglo and Biorph have fun (as well as all of you do too) and maybe I can make it next year.

It's also a bit disappointing that you can't go to DragonCon... I was looking forward to meeting you.

Yeah, I wanted to go but I mean realisitcly, Im just really sick and I dont know If I could deal. I mean, as I stated, my white blood cells are so low, Its not advisable really for me to be around that many people who could be sick.

Right now I keep getting sick at least every other day.

Maybe next year =)

I can't repeat on these boards what I said aloud when I read that.

There's supposed to be legislation in Congress right now to open up the pharmaceutical markets to foreign, non-FDA approved drugs from places like Mexico and Canada, where they are presumably much much much cheaper. If it's as good as I hear it is, I urge you to call your congressional rep to ask him/her to support it. The pharmaceutical lobby is going after this with guns blazing, so it MUST be good for Joe Public like us.

Well, my insurance will pay about 80% of it. I have co pay. One of the guys who was telling me about the treatment (Serastim) said he only pays 60 bucks.

But I still have to find a job, even though im starting to look bad. Im not getting much sleep.

Serastim is the only FDA approved drug for AIDS Wasting, which, We think I have but wont know till I get my results on Monday.
