I used to have all the books, but they disappeared slowly over the course of many moves I do remember that record though, that was so cool

I actually sent in the form from the newspaper comic to get the official Bill The Cat Buyer's Club certificate! I was 9 at the time, so maybe 1980-81. It currently sits, framed, above my computer in my office

Still the best comic strip ever made. I think I still have the book with that particular strip in it. And I recently had to throw out my torn and tattered "Bill & Opus '84" presidential campaign t-shirt.
