A couple of my favorite BC strips have to be where Opus is having the nightmares about the McPenguin burgers and the kid behind the counter, in response to Opus asking if they're planning on selling them any time soon, says, "McNope, but McMaybe McLater."

The other one is with Binkley and the closet... where the monster is telling him they're going to terrorize him with cockroaches... clumsy cockroaches... walking on the ceiling! And guess who sleeps with his mouth open!

And C&H... I miss that strip... I've been trying to dredge up, from memory, a lot of the explanations that his dad gave him, to use on my daughters when they get old enough to start asking those questions....

Bloom County rocked! Bill and Opus are the only cartoon characters I can draw well. They usually end up on the Christmas cards I send my friends.

The explanation about why there are all these black-and-white photos (because the world was black and white back then).

The question about record players... How two points on the record player, one near the edge and one near the middle, travel a full revolution, but travel different distances.
