As a recovering M:tG addict and D&D player I get this all the time. I was tutoring some high school math the other day and we started on probability. There were Red and Blue marbles in a bad, so I represented that as 75 R marbles and 25 U marbles. The kid asked "Why are you using U for blue?". "Because B is for Black" Then I realized what I said. The kid got upset too, "Oh man, where'd BLACK marbles come from? Im so confused!" And I had to cover it over.

So today, in the obscenely treacherous traffic from my house to the city where I work , I get in behind a car with the license plate :

and I turn to MojoGM and say "Hey that would make her about 3rd level, almost 4th"...

Is that sad?

When I registered the used car I bought and they handed me my plates I wished I had a gamer with me.

Last week I sent a bunch of my pals the following email:

Subject: Egads! I think I just popped a level!

A week or so ago I handed in the last two papers for my Master's degree. Then I applied for a new managment level job last week.

This morning they offered me the job, and I accepted.

We're all pretty delirious around here.
