Yes, you get d4 Hp. Free feat: Skill Focus Knowledge(any) and 6+int bonus skill points. Your class skills are all Knowledge.
Yay!

More happy dance.

I may be sad, but I'm a whole lot happier that way.

And I have peers who understand me. What more could I ask?

There's a newsagents near the Wimbledon tennis grounds called D&D News. I wonder if they sell Dragon Mag.

I've been known to shout "Natural 20! Oh yes, natural 20!" during very intimate moments with my girlfriend.

I haven't been nearly as bad with D&D references (other than talking about alignments and stats) as I was with EQ references when I used to play. Talk of camps, SoW, etc abounded.

Slightly off topic, but you know that you've been playing EQ too much when, while driving, you look in your rear view mirror and freak out when you don't see your pet following you, and wonder what he's going to bring back to you.

Either that, or you know you really shouldn't be driving at that point.

When I registered the used car I bought and they handed me my plates I wished I had a gamer with me.

CHA 2269. Who knew you could have a charisma that high?

Wow. What kinds of bonuses to , say, diplomacy checks would you get with that?

;)

Another thing...everytime I hear someone on the news talk about the soldiers armed with their RPGs, I just imagine a bunch of guys in uniform whacking their opponents over the head with the Players Handbook....

lol

images of soldiers doing fancy march-steps with heavy Dungeon master's guides

we are rpg mas-ters. we are rpg mas-ters.
we will not let our pc's bam-boo-zle us.

Last week I sent a bunch of my pals the following email:

Subject: Egads! I think I just popped a level!

A week or so ago I handed in the last two papers for my Master's degree. Then I applied for a new managment level job last week.

This morning they offered me the job, and I accepted.

We're all pretty delirious around here.

(I wonder if I get any new hit points with my new prestige class and level of mastery?)

Congrats!

Three finals next week and I'm done with my MS. Promotion won't hit until about April, though. Sigh. In January I go back to actually having to earn my pay.

Wonder what PrC I should be getting? Or should I just take another level of Expert? ;)

On the way to a guild meeting in Long Island:

"Let Mike use the cell phone; he plays the bard!"

Then, when we got massively lost, we knew none of us had Direction Sense.

In D&D terms, I mock some of my friends for their low Spot/Search scores; half of them can be in a store looking for something and have it be right there in front of them, and they'd never know.

OK, if you just tried to calculate that in your head, you just had a D&D moment.

If you thought you should post the answer to impress Djeta, you just had an EN World moment.

That's a +1129 modifier! Not too shabby. I'm sure you all remember that

(x/2)-5=y

where
x = the ability score and
y = the ability score modifier.

I mean, honestly, who couldn't do that in their head? :D

You know, I was lousy at math before I found D&D.

Er, my wife frequents these boards... so obviously I did it to impress her.
