[OT] Sniper plays D&D?

I was just watching Connie Chung on CNN where she was interviewing a profiler named Pat Brown (sp?) about the Maryland Sniper. She was giving her assesment of the sniper and listed several things the sniper might do. Included in the list was play D&D. The reasoning was he had a need for power and D&D allowed him to have this. It was quickly in passing and did not focus on it. I just hope he does not and this does not contribute to the image of roleplayers.

1) He's not using a crossbow ... so he must obviously be a playtester for d20 modern, get it right!

2) If he was channelling this energy into roleplaying, I don't think he'd have the time to be out shooting people.

I'd go along with the Berkowitz thing....that and the Zodiac.

Bundy was the "stereotypical" serial killer; sexual predator with a really, really bad temper.

I think it's a perfectly kromulent word. It describes shallow water fishing without a lure.

I think Pat's DM moved away and left Pat to grow up as an angry and bitter ex-player turned profiler...
