We had a new student enroll this week. He has been homeschooled for quite some time and is now entering the 8th grade. After getting all set up he was at his locker will classes were still in session when the passing period bell sounded. He then ran into the counseling office and asked the secretary if, and I quote, "Did I set the alarm off?". 
Just one of those things in a public school that makes your day.
Also, I have no problems with homeschooling, we homeschool our 6 year old, but I hope she never does something like that!
