[OT] What degree(s) do you have?

Double BA in Russian Language & Literature/History.

Illinois Wesleyan U, 1995. Junior year was at Petrozavodsk State U, Russia.

And, hey, I'm an RPCV, any of those out there? (If you don't know what that means, then you certainly aren't one!)

Glad to know that the EN boards are darn well educated! You guys are great.

Currently I work for the University of Alaska as computer support. I am able to take classes for (mostly) free and have earned over 130 credit hours.

I have completed the equivalent of a minor in Computer Science, Mathematics, and Philosophy. One of these years I will probably pickup a degree. :) I want a degree in Physics; unfortunately this campus does not offer one.

BA with a dual major Medieval History/English, minor in Classics
MA in English
ABD English (I don't know if that term is used anymore -- 'all but dissertation') which essentially means that after 10 years of school I couldn't take it any more and got a job.

Now the interesting thing is that I'm now doing computer stuff at a manager level with no formal background in computers whatsoever. I was in the right place at the right time. :)

And I got to mention Phi Beta Kappa -- any other PBKers out there?

And Tolen, I admit it! Although... I still draw terribly. I work mostly with Photoshop, FreeHand and Illustrator, hehe :)

Well, its my 5th year in college, and I've got two more to go.

But hopefully here's how it'll shape up:

B.S.--Business Management: Entrepreneurship
Minor in Journalism and Mass Communication with emphasis in Electronic Media Studies.
Minor in English.

Actually, at this point I'm not certain if I'll graduate. I'm learning more and more that you don't have to have a degree to be a successful Entrepreneur.

What I really what is to find a mentor who'd be willing to teach me what I need to know to start up a business and run it well. The stuff I'm learning in school is fine but I'd rather be learning the "street smarts" of running a business.

Any mentors out there????

Well, 4 years at Truman State gave me this wonderful B.A. in Biology (would have been a BS but I found a loophole to get out of taking Organic Chem II. It was worth it :) )

Currently in University of Missouri - St. Louis Optometry School working to become an Optometrist.

2 more finals and the first year is done! Hoody Hoo! Only 3 more....

Wow, so many educated people. Now I know where to turn when I need answers.

Also, I will shout out a big hello to all of you from the new guy on the boards (I just joined today - well, I joined yesterday at Mortality for the test, and registered here today).

Well, I am only a partially educated individual with an Associates Degree in Business Computer Programming (and that took quitting and returning to school three times due to a lack of focus). Now I am thankful that I finally finished school (read - thankful my wife kicked my butt until I learned to take my responsibilities seriously).

Later
