[OT?] What happened to Green Ronin's Messageboard?

I logged on yesterday and today and found my username account invalid. What gives?

Don't know much, as I don't visit their forums (there are too many forums out there) but it would seem much more useful to me to ask someone at Green Ronin about your problem.

Try reregistering with a different name, then post in their 'Suggestion Box"

Hi Folks,

Just wanted to explain some things for those of you who have noticed the troubles on the forum, missing threads, missing user IDs.

The forums went down in a spectacular way Sunday, March 2. Evan returned from his honeymoon and immediately set to work trying to get them back up and functioning at all.

In order to get the forums to function again, he had to go way back to an old "safe" back-up of the user database. We're working our way back to full functionality, and it may be that we can get some of the users and threads back as we work our way through newer database back-ups.

We'll definitely try to restore what we can, and I apologize to those who were affected by the database crash.

Evan, our wonderful and talented webmaster, managed to restore the boards to their former glory. Posts and registrations from yesterday were lost in favor of re-installing the 950+ registered users and their posts that had accumulated (in the Mutants & Masterminds forum in particular).

Thanks everyone for your patience, and hats off to SassyRonin for handling the problem so successfully!
