Yesterday I got run off the road by some lousy driver who didn't want me passing him in the lane that was about to disappear in 100 yards or so, which caused a flat tire and bent wheel rim. In addition, I was told that the studs on the other wheel had stripped threads and one of them was broken (I was replacing both tires, as my front tires were starting to look a little bald anyway), so they had to be replaced too (actually, I went and saw that hardware Nasty looking.) Total damage: c. $260. Then, after the fact it occured to me that I can't envision a scheme in which the studs got broken and de-threaded by my driving around, and the most likely scenario was that the mechanic himself did that taking my wheel off. I could be wrong, but I sure wish I had thought of it early enough to at least challenge him on that to see what he'd say.

The only good things about it are that my wife took me out for a late lunch at Arby's (so we can get two more glasses!) and I didn't bother going in to work after that because I had already blasted the whole day to smithereens sitting around in the Goodyear lobby. I also had the Monsternomicon in the car with me, which I was about 25% through with. I finished it shortly after getting back home for the afternoon while my wife went shopping for Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately, the only things I have to complain about matter in the sceme of things(for me) and would probably depress everyone here, so I'll just say that I'm sick of commercials.

Hey leave commercials alone, they are often better than the programs!

My GF went to England to study for the Summer. She promised that she would go with me to Vegas for a weekend trip when she gets back. I planned the trip for this weekend, and a couple weeks ago, her parents forbade her from goign with me (she is 22)

I am planning for Grad school (cal state san jose or san jose state) and we were supposed to enrole together. She just changed her mind last night and wants to stay around here- so she is looking to apply to Cal Poly Pomona.

Long Distance relationships sukk. But whatchagonna do?

I'll probably gain 5 pounds from all the yummy food I'll get to eat this week.

It sucks that I'll probably not have enough time to have real meaningful conversations with ALL the relatives I will see this week.

I can't beleive I have to get up so early every morning and work, unlike the 5 months I was jobless this year.

I'll never be able to do all the preparation I would like for BOTH of the gaming groups I'm in!

ENWorld has tooo many good ideas being posted here. Can you all just slow down so I can use everything?

I really miss the way my clothes used to smell like cigarette smoke all the time. Life without lung butter is so bland.

It just burns me up inside that I still haven't found the perfect curtains for the house. You know how hard that is when you live a block from the beach...

I'm with Joe B. Getting old sucks.

According to the Player's Handbook (pg 93) I'm supposed to lose a point of STR, CON, and DEX. I've already lost more than that. I'm also supposed to gain a point of INT, WIS, and CHA and I can tell you all right now that all I'm doing is getting stupider and uglier with every passing day.

Whoever is DMing my life is totally gimping my character sheet.
