Well, this may not make much sense, but since the offer to rant is there ...

My E. coli culture died. The positive control for a run I was doing today came up blank, which lead me to discover my poor, departed bacteria. I think the tryptic soy broth it was in was bad, but I didn't get a chance to QC it until the day I had to run the test. I probably should have checked yesterday, but hindsight is 20/20 and all that.

On top of that, my FETAX ref tox failed yet again to produce a two headed frog.

I was half asleep this morning when I put my boxer shorts on and its taken me until 6pm (when I went to the loo) to realise I've put them on back to front.

Only started work at noon today so I go up and dressed later than usual, hence I didn't have them on when I had a slash in the morning. I was bursting by 6pm, which lead to serious panic when I couldn't find the opening of my boxer shorts.

I'm with Joe B. Getting old sucks.

According to the Player's Handbook (pg 93) I'm supposed to lose a point of STR, CON, and DEX. I've already lost more than that. I'm also supposed to gain a point of INT, WIS, and CHA and I can tell you all right now that all I'm doing is getting stupider and uglier with every passing day.

Whoever is DMing my life is totally gimping my character sheet.

Buffy season 6 on DVD isn´t out until 2003 04 16

And I haven´t seen any of these seasons yet.

Don't get the FX Channel? Buffy's on everyday at 6 and 7 p.m., and then those same episodes are on again the following morning at 7 and 8 a.m. Season 6 starts next Monday at 6 p.m., after all the Thanksgiving stuff tomorrow and Friday. The end of Season 5 was tonight and will be on again Monday morning.

I keep getting attacked by mutant monkeys and my eyes hurt. The holidays are feh. Farscape isn't coming back yet I am going to a Farscape Con this weekend. I'm looking for a new gaming group (not easy). My left leg is on fire. I have to wait a whole month for LotR:TTT and may not even be able to see it opening night. There aren't enough goats in my life.

So, I guess I really have nothing to complain about. LOL
