By the by, my apologies for the second post on the same topic I left today....I had no idea this thread even existed after it was closed. It seems people have been answering me and I didnt even know it.

I am a 37 year old male with a lovely gamer wife and two adorable boys (Luke 4 and Elijah 19 months). I was born in Madison, IN (home of the unlimited hydroplanes) and got a CS degree there. Then went to Ball State in Muncie, IN and picked up a Photojournalist degree. Move to my wife's hometown of Plymouth, IN got married nearly 11 years ago and started shooting for the local paper.

While shooting pictures and doing every other job at the paper (including being the editor for over a year) I found that my niche was sports photography. I love being on the sidelines at a Notre Dame game. Love shooting autoraces also (will be at the Brickyard 400 this weekend). Freelancer now.

Left the paper 2 years ago to work with my friend/now brother-in-law at a small local ISP. Ending up buying it with him last year. My wife was an elite gymnast when she was younger and now owns her own gym and loves it. Was introduced to RPG by a military friend who showed me Gamma World and proceeded to kick my but with some radioactive rabbit of some sort. The next year I found the RED BOX (1980) and that changed my life forever.

Have gamed on and off since but only D&D. Loved the box sets, hated 2E:the xpansion, and love the current edition. Have only DMed up until last year when we met some new gamer friends and now I get to play occasionally. Been a few months though and I am jonesin for some dungeon crawling.

Indeed, I don't like to brag but my little soldiers can sure swim. As yet we don't know if its a boy or a girl, but if I have anything to do with it, it will be a gamer!

29 years old, married, 2.5 kids. Navy pilot currently flying a desk and planning on entering the "real world" within the year. Been playing D&D off-and-on since about 1983. I'm obsessed with Pittsburgh sports which, unfortunately, causes me to watch the Pirates and get my heart broken on a near-daily basis. Generally I just wander about the house trying not to get yelled at by my wife and kids, slipping off to my Nerdery room whenever I get a spare couple of minutes.

I am 32 and live in Idaho. Married with 2 kids and a dog.

Shows I like: Simpsons, Futurama, King of the Hill, MST3K, Monk, Dead Zone, Law & Order, Malcom in the Middle...I'm sure there's more. I still think Bugs Bunny rules.

Movies I like: Christophe Guest flicks (Waiting for Guffman, Best In Show, Spinal Tap), Dick, Galaxy Quest, LotR, The Wrong Guy, Dumb and Dumber...really, the list goes on far too long.

I have an English Lit degree and currently work contract as a copyeditor. Very boring work. I produce a fantasy-related e-zine on the side, hoping against hope it will one day, somehow, make me a lot of money. Or at least enough that I can quit my day job.

I used to love to read, until I became an English Lit major and read enough to last me a lifetime.

I like a wide range of music, none of it is country. Bands include: Queensryche, Dio, Scorpions, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Dan Fogelberg, Fiona Apple, Weird Al Yankovich, and so on and so forth.

I enjoy getting ticked off a current events. I think celebrities who like to mouth off about politics (Barbara Streisand, Sean Penn, Alec Baldwin, Rosie O'Donnell, Jeanine Gerafalo, Jessica Lange to name a very few) should shut the #*($@ up and realize that their opinioin isn't any more valid than the guy next door (and most often less so). I think we the people should stop treating celebrities like they do know what they're talking about.

I love France, despite the government, and would kill for an unlimited supply of French cheese, bread, and pastries. I used to speak French fluently; now I'm luck if I could still say my name.

Despite having ridiculously stong opinions on everything, I'm actually very easy-going and I get along with everyone (almost). I've been coming to ENWorld for a year and a half or so, and I love it.

I am also a deeply religious person, though you'd never know it on these boards.

I think that's plenty about me.

I'm 32, and I work as a software QA tech for Hewlett Packard. In other words, I'm a test monkey.

Other than work, and D&D, I like computer gaming (I finally got my computer re-working, and installed Star Wars Galaxies last night.) I also have my computer set up as a "Bedroom Music Studio". This means I have software that I use to create music. Mostly I create various forms of technoish stuff.

I love movies and music and reading. Oh, and I'm a 12 year old in the body of a 32 year old. Go fig.

I'm 29, married with two kids (and one on the way) and two cats. I was born in Poland, but grew up in Pittsburgh. I've travelled to Mexico, Canada, Poland, Germany and Luxembourg. I'm currently an engineer in the DC Metro area.

I've been playing RPG's (including D&D) since about 1988. At one time I owned every Forgotten Realms product published between 1987 and 1992, but sold the whole collection on eBay.

Between working, raising kids, coaching soccer and fretting over the rising cost of housing in my area, I read, watch lots of soccer (Manchester United, Celtic FC), draw pretty pictures and obsess about World War II history. I also got one of my kids into D&D.
