(OT) Wrestling

Hi to all fans and all non-fans.

Firstly I would like to say "well done" to Triple H for a great job informing us on the R-Ramble PPV.

Keep up the good work!!!

I heard a rumor that the WWF is coming to Asia soon? Can anyboy confirm the dates if its true?

You see I live in KL, Malaysia and I am a huge fan, but we only get 45mins a week of Smackdown on TV which is about 3-4 mths old! So If anybody knows of the tour please let me know.

Thanks

Confirmed.

They're coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on March 4th. I'm not sure when the tickets go on sale though, or how you can get them.

Ouch! I thought we had it bad here, we have to wait 2-4 days to get the shows (except the PPVs). I will never complain again! ;)

Heh thanks. Working on the site and hopefully going to start rants soon. Been doing lots of wrestling. So my time here has been short. Thouhg I have posted on the spycraft thing:)

I kinda thought the quality of the WWF was going down too..... until I saw that match between the RVD + The Hardys versus Lance Storm + The Dudleys on last week's Smackdown.

That was one of the best matches I have seen televised in a LONG LOOOOOOOOOOONG time.

Renewed my faith :D

Re: Destruction of the WWF!?

Vince ranted that if anyone would destroy the WWF it would be him and the tool of this destruction would be the NWO. But how exactly is introducing three aging wrestlers going to supposedly bring about the destruction of the WWF!? Am I missing something!? Will Hall, Nash and Hogan be alone!?
I am also curious what will be Triple H's role in all this.

Ive watched wrestling for years, since the old Wrestlmania 1
so thats at least 18 years :) and nothing they are showing now is getting me a bit excited...

The only angle that worked for me was the Hogan v Sting
and NwO taking over the WcW (which ran for 2 years or so) which really kept me coming back week after week for some reason :)

But since then (about 5 years now?) there has been boring
crap on...no charisma, no decent matches nothing...

Maybe i am picky I dont know
I keep watching , waiting WANTING to like wrestling again
but it isnt happening

And after stating the above about liking the whole NwO vs the Rest angle the first time round...RE HASHING the same old crap that didnt work in the wCW is not helping me like the product they are showing so far...

WcW rehashed the whole NWo scenario three times after the
first one played itself out and guess what...none of them worked...so why would this new rehash work???

I got to admit ROCK needed his criple ass kicked and it was funny
but it has been all done BEFORE! :(

When is there going to be any original thought in wreslting skits?
When are we going to see some technical wreslting with holds and counter holds ?

Where are the great wrestlers like Hart, Benoit and MelenkO?
I know Hart and Melenko are retired and Benoit is returning soon, what i mean wrestlers with technical skill and not just plain thuggery...

The wreslting has only room for Thugs and Glitz...no substance

I will keep watching but my confidence of a good product rearing its head in the all too near future doesnt look bright...

JUST MY HUMBLE OPINION :)

I hear ya, Harl. That match between Jericho and Austin at No Way Out was pretty brutal. Jericho can wrestle pretty decently when he wants to, but there was so many chest slaps in that match, both wrestlers' chests were purple and the fans' voices were starting to crack from all the "Woo"s. Brutal.

Not really looking forward to Hogan vs. Rock. Hogan couldn't wrestle in his prime, what makes him think he can do so now?

But I can see how the NWO could destroy the WWF. When they appeared in WCW, it was that fed's last hurrah before finally falling to the lowest of depths and dying.[/sarcasm]

I hear Undertaker doesn't like the NWO coming to the WWF and refuses to participate in a showdown with Kevin Nash. So who's Big Sexy going to fight at Wrestlemania then?

Love those types of matches. Jericho is pretty good. Austin is more limited but has the charisma and character.

Frighteninly, Hogan didn't wrestle badly in Japan. He had a decent match with Stan Hansen there, though now that I think about it, that has to be 8 years ago or so. Axe Bomber!:) But yes, this could be pretty bad.

Well, the NWO is played out and has been for years. It's just rehashing an angle that was white hot years ago and fell flat when Bishoff didn't have a clue where to go with it. At this point a Kevin Nash v. Undertaker match would suck anyway, so it might be for the best.:)
