YTF did they kill the Lone Gunmen off? Now I have no reason to watch the last four episodes!

And a virus in a sealed room? What a stupid way to kill the best characters in the show!

Comments? Flames? Bumps?

dude, i stopped watching the show some time ago. mulder leaving killed it for me. killing the lone gunmen off was pretty weak. maybe this was like a "punishment" for their show not working out. *shrug*

They KILLED the Lone Gunman?!! What the hell?!

I am so very glad I stopped watching that show over a year ago. The episodes leading up to Mulder leaving were so bizzare I just got fuzzy about the show, and then I just completely lost interest. I liked Dogget, but the show was just boring as heck.

They killed the Lone Gunmen? Please, explain, in detail, so I know what to put on the "thank you" note.

... which I will attach to the firebomb I'm mailing to the residence of whichever writer is responsible. ;)

- Sir Bob.

So, they killed off the Lone Gunmen? We were lucky that they got an episode. They had a great show, but no one watched it. They died in a way that sacrificed their life to save people. Sure, the fire doors might not stop a virus. But it's not like X-Files was ever known for its realism.

Y'know, I really liked the Lone Gunmen show. It was one of the few bright spots on TV at the time it was on. I thought it was funny and thoroughly engrossing - and I was anything but a fan of the Lone Gunmen before their show. Hated 'em, as a matter of fact. But their show was fresh, sharp, and fun to watch.

So, did they kill them off unambiguously? Did they kill of Jimmy Bond and Eve Adele Harlow (one fo the most beautiful women ever on TV) too?

I echo others statements in not having watched the X-Files for quite some time (since the movie in fact). Mulder leaving certainly didn't make me want to come back to the fold either. The Lone Gunmen were not favorite characters, nor was their show particularly good during its short run. But it did get the Friday, 9pm time-slot of death and shows need time to mature, but oh well!

They killed em off...the show's mercifully ending soon...

Now let's get Millennium onto the big screen!!

I thought it was an entertaining episode. They went out sacrificing themselves. You got to see them closing up some threads too.

The X-Files is as good as its ever been and I've watched it since the beginning.

Those people who gave up on the show should catch it especially as they tie up lots of the loose ends.

I actually kind of feel sorry for the people that gave up on it.

Jimmy and Eve were in the episode, along with Morris Fletcher. Dogget and Reyes were almost incidental in the episode, and Scully and Skinner were only in it at the funeral. I think that considering that there are only four more episodes after this one, its cool that they pretty much made this episode an episode of The Lone Gunmen.

They had to change the season a lot to be able to wrap it up, as it was not determined that this would be the last season until mid-season, so its likely that this was a slightly-altered episode of the LoneG.unmen that never aired
