D&D 5E Out of The Abyss- Gracklstugh question from DM

Hello,

My group is currently in Gracklstugh on out play through OoTA. We wrapped up last night with them speaking with Errde Blackskull but I was rereading the chapter today and I can't find where they are suppose to be searching for Droki other than the market place? There isn't really anything that would lead them to Whorlstone Tunnels that I can find.

The he party got a chance to visit Themberchuad but turned it down. That was the only real drop of clue that I noticed that would lead the party to search for the tunnels.

My my question is how did you incorporate the tunnels into your campaign or see how it fits.

Also is there a pronunciation guide. Many of the names seem to be difficult to sound out. I've been winging it with what I believe but I doubt they are correct.

Thank you!

p. 251 Afterword includes pronunciation guide for Gracklestugh (grak-ul-stoog).

My party caught up to Droki in the market on their second try (he escaped through the crowd first time they saw him). Because of how my group interacted with various folks they, chose to take Droki to the dragon for questioning. They learned a lot from him before Themberchaud ate the derro. :)

They then went into the tunnels via the warehouse entrance.

Edit: page 64 has a side bar titled "Chasing Droki" that is helpful.

I think the others hit it pretty well on the head, but my advice would be to improvise.

Don't take the hooks and tips and chains of events from the AP too seriously, do what you feel is right, when it feels that way and makes sense for your group.

I did not have a great way to directly link Droki with the caverns either, but I used what information was available to improvise a pretty logical scenario. It was simplified by the fact that all the Derro live in their respective area. A little of canvasing of the more helpful townsfolk got my party headed in that direction until they were able to make another sighting and follow the pesky bugger.
