D&D 5E Over the top, Action Packed, one-shot.

I need one for a last minute game that got scheduled for the weekend....Any ideas?

I'm not concerned about edition or even if it's a D&D variant, just wanting to find an adventure that starts right in the action, goes pretty non-stop, and can be played in 4-5 hours or so. An escape..or a rescue..or planar...or barrier-peaks/science fantasy elements....pirates.....or all of them combined ;)

4 PCs, levels don't matter-will create characters...

I was thinking maybe Don't Wake Dretchlor from Ensider, but it may be a bit tame/slow going,,,so looking for all options...

You could use this thing, which I wrote and ran a while back: River Journey. It will probably have some setting stuff that you'd want to dump, but it is reasonably combat heavy and designed to show off D&D 5e. I made it for 5th level characters, and could provide those if you wanted.

It isn't the world's most complex or clever adventure, but it lasted for about three hours and seemed entertaining to the players.

Phlan.

Hate the dessert.

My fave adventuring site in the Realms.

Will gjve if a go-over.

Picked up a couple 13th Age adventures on drive thru, a dungeon world starter, and FYI for this forum, there is a really fun looking freebie oneshot for 5e on drivethru called The Tomb of Nyarlathotep.

Just remember action movie rule #1: If you're at a loss for what should happen, BLOW SOMETHING UP!
