Overconfident

I think that the Insight bonus is appropriate especially if the character is aware of his charisma. I think that the Deflection Bonus IS asking a bit too much from this feat.

Deflection is actually worse, since it's going to overlap with many common things.

Insight bonuses are hard for Arcane classes to get in Core.

But I'd still limit it to a single target, who is the current focus of your Charismatic denial.

See I'm not so sure about this. A character who oozes charisma might affect those around him almost as much as he would one certain target.

How about putting a limit on the range? Insight AC bonus against all opponents within 30'?

A certain number of opponents within 30', nearest affected first and moving outward.?

Rings of protection comes to mind.

OK, guys! Finally, a feat that can give low-level Sorcerers a decent AC!
Makes sense for magic items to shine through later, the feat would be overpowered if that wasn't so.

Aside:
Wait, what? What does Deflection overlap?!
Ring of Protection, Protection from Evil, Armor of Faith... other things that grant Deflection bonuses, which include many higher level spells, too.

Still too good as written. Here's a possible variant that is likely still too powerful, but workable. Perhaps do it at CHR bonus by two and allow it to be used each round?

Overawing presence

Your charm and good looks make even the most cruel and heartless creatures hesitate to strike you.

Effect: As an immediate action, you gain an insight bonus to your AC equal to your Charisma modifier against a single attack originating from within 30 feet. Attacks from sources that ignore mind-effecting spells are not affected by this ability. The decision to use this ability against any single attack must be made before the attack roll is made. This ability can only be used once per encounter.

No just make it every opponent within 30', maybe Line of Sight required.

Do you mean that the target/enemy should have line of sight to the sorcerer, or the sorcerer should have line of sight to the target/enemy? Or perhaps both? A blind creature wouldn't see that the sorcerer was really good looking.
