Painting plastic mini's

The Heroclix mini was missing an arm. I have no idea what it was...

It's a SWAT team member. I have a ton of these and use them all the time for d20 Modern...

Thanks Ledded. I'll have to try the goof-off trick.
The sculpts on the mini's are often very good, but I agree that the paintjobs are designed to be durable, so they are thicker than the skin on my arm.

With some of them, D&D minis in particular, I don't know if I'd describe the paintjob as "designed" so much as "inflicted", but you get my point .

I was surprised at how much more detail just leapt out at me after I stripped a couple. It must make the sculpters just crazy.
