Pathfinder 1E [Paizo] Dragon #317

Takin' Names

I guess when it comes down to it, I'm also curious as to what the 4 "Xenophilia" PC races are, the names of the creatures in "Beasts of the Sun", and even wouldn't mind the prestige class names from "Body of Knowledge" (assuming they're not just called 'The Master of Brains' or something silly like that). Hope that's not asking too much... . Thanks in advance btw.

I'm with you LoneWolf. That isn't fair at all. :(

I was SO looking forward to an article with either tabaxi or rakasta related material. Heck, I'd even take an article based on the catfolk from the Miniatures Handbook.
After reading this issue, I'd have to say the cover is a shifter with its biter and render abilities turned "on." It doesn't explicitly say that, but that's the connection I make between the cover and the contents.

As I finally got my issue early enough to contribute to one of these threads, I'll be happy to help you out. :)

The "Xenophilia" races are the adu'jas, a race of plant-people who schooled the elves when that race was young; the gruwaars, a bestial fey race devoted to trickery; the golmoids, former gnome constructs given life by Garl Glittergold; and the t'kel, a reptilian race "civilized" by the adu'jas.

The "Beasts of the Sun" are the cipactli, a tarrasque-like monster; the chaneque, a mischievous earth fey; the quinametin, large human predecessors; thunders, air outsiders; xilobs, deformed giants; and xtabays, a type of hag.

The "Body of Knowledge" prestige classes are the osteomancer, a spellcaster who can control his own bones and (eventually) those of other creatures; the flux adept, a spellcaster who can control her own bodily processes; and the cerebrex, a spellcaster who can control her own nervous system.

Are you guys BLIND!?

There's been a rokugan core ninja since they went d20. And I thought the PrC system was much more appropriate myself...

Screw the ROkugan ninja

I know about the Rokugan core ninja class, but that one sucked for two reasons!

ONE: Didn't have Hide in Plain Sight, Evasion, Improved Evasion, or super high jumping, acrobatics, and it completely relied on THREE ability scores (Dexterity, Constitution, Intelligence).

TWO: It was UNOFFICIAL! As in it was not created nor backed up by WotC. The one in Dragon Magazine is 100% official D&D true core ninja. Not something stupid AEG cooked up. I've always hated AEG material only because they robbed us of all the D&D Oriental stuff, and we have no more Oriental material anymore, now Rokugan has it all.
