Break,

Well, maybe Amazon.com will have it a tad cheaper.

Ian,

I never thought Buhlman was that tasty...

Is Amazon.com currently carrying any of the tile sets or the mini-adventurers with the miniatures in 'em? That'd be the first thing I'd look for.

Drew,

Yeah but now who in their right minds wants people to READ their stuff on computer rather than in print?

Uh, when the choice is "on computer" or "not at all," I'd likely choose "on computer."

WotC: Yes, sirrah, I do indeed bite my thumb at thee, you fu#%3rs!

Paizo folks,

Dungeon was aimed at the DMs and Dragon was more for general consumption. Is there going to be a similar split twixt Pathfinder and GameMastery, or will they be two serperate venues for adventures, monsters, and things the guy behind the screen likes to read about?

And if it's meaningful, Class Acts were the best published pages in magazinedom month after month; is there any way we'll see something like that from you in the future?

Best of luck!

Subscription:
The discount on Pathfinder is noted as being 30%, but in the product description is noted as being 40%.
Which is the correct percentage?

As far as I know, Dungeon and Dragon are selling just fine...Paizo seems to have risen pretty high on their success. Wizards pulled the plug on Paizo's rights to publish the mag, it seems to me, specifically to create a void for their new electronic content service to fill.

This is my thought exactly!!!!! Wotc just wanted a way for their on-line mag to succeed and by doing that they had to chop at Paizo. Just speculation here, but I'd be money on it!

I'm curious though? WotC cut all their staff a few years ago and got rid of some great talent. I'm wondering who is going to pick up the slack??????

Perhaps because I am young and have only ever bought the magazines, irregularly, I do not feel this loss quite as accutely as some of you, but still, I am pretty darned disappointed.

I have been waiting a long time for the right moment for this declaration though, and I think this is the right moment:

Leyt uz unt dem dowen end keel dem awl!

P.S. I guess I can pop open that lil' bottle of Drambuie I got in my stocking at Christmas and drink to Moldvay, Dungeon and Dragon with you guys.

I'm home from work now.

So I can finally actually raise a glass to the end of Dragon and the birth of something new.

It's the end of an era.

The King is Dead. Long Live the King.

Good luck Erik, Josh, and everyone else. I look forward to seeing y'all at the summer Cons this year.

And now I think I'll stop posting and start getting drunk.

Edit: And of course, I just discovered that both my subs run out two issues before the end, so I have to pick up four issues on the monthly sub plan for closure
