Pathfinder 1E Paizo no longer publishing Dungeon and Dragon

Gryf,

I think that's the opinion of most everyone here.

Whiz,

That we know of...but I do agree this is pretty darn foolish.

I love Savage Tide; probably one of the best adventure series ever written. It is Unique AND Cool and it appeals to most gamers out there, which is a great accomplishment in itself. I am sure that this trend will continue in Pathfinder; some of the adventures in the first series seem awesome!

We've had the name Pathfinder for this product for quite some time before a movie of the same name popped up. Hell, you might as well lambast us for naming our product after the 1840 book written by James Fenimore Cooper of the same title or tell us we'd copied Nissan. :-)

Well I'm glad to know you sat on this news for so long. The movie had been in development for years.

The movie name is going to have more recognition than your magazine probably ever will. You might as well call it 300 magazine. The name is pretty lame IMO.

But you have WAR art so I'm on board.

Mor,

I was napping BEFORE this happened. Sadly, it's not a nightmare. Although in some ways, it is.

Cb,

Thirded.

Waylander,

Agreed. I believe in the power of Pathfinder!

Whiz,

I'd buy a softcover version of the Styes.

This was really not what I wanted to see when I logged on this morning. I haven't read the whole thread but I imagine I'm not alone in the first thought that I had "This sucks!" :(

I'm not feeling too happy with WotC at the moment to say the least. I hope that Paizo's adventure game lines turn out to be very successful for them. They deserve to continue the success that they built with Dungeon and Dragon.

The slightly ironic thing is I was going to resubscribe in September after a couple of year hiatus. I was just waiting for the Savage Tide AP to finish. I guess I won't be doing that now. Maybe I'll just subscribe to Pathfinder or the monthly 32-page adventure lines instead.
