TSR had this adventure rewritten and tried to recall and destroy the original orange cover print run considering it controversial. Only a few survived.

The physical edition is a true rarity. For the collectors out there, it is something unusual.

For most of us, we'll happily just have the pdf. But having one of the very few copies of an adventure that was recalled and destroyed? Yeah, it does have a value.

I'm not that well off to add it to my collection!

Why was it controversial? I'm thinking I probably ran it way back in the depths of time, but I don't really remember.

I'm starting to wish I'd kept all my old stuff instead of giving it to new gamers.

The original version (by Jean Wells) had some art that seemed to be mocking the TSR leaders, plus some otherwise racy art (for the time) and rather odd monsters. Stories vary a little on what it was that so enraged TSR leadership - but it was recalled and destroyed.

The module that was widely released was rewritten extensively by Tom Moldvay.
